About the hotel
Woodcote's is a small independant family run hotel. We have 18 bedrooms which are individually designed. All rooms have en-suite, and we have two rooms that have baths, the rest have showers.
We have a beautiful Victorian walled garden that our guests can enjoy. We grow lots of fruit and herbs in our allotment which we use in our restaurant. We have a small bright restaurant which serves all homecooked food, we also do afternoon tea and all our cakes and scones are home made. We have a function room and bar. We have a small shop in our reception area that sells Vintage goods. All our staff are like an extension of our family, and there friendly and can do attitude extends to our guests which keeps us in the high ranking 9+ on all our reviews. We are only 12 minutes away from Hooton station, less by car, where you can get to Liverpool, Chester and North Wales. We are situated just off the M53 motorway at Junction 5. The situation of the hotel is excellent to explore the coastline of the Wirralpeninsula.

lovely hotel but just a few niggles.....
I absolutely can't fault the cleanliness of the hotel, nor the friendliness of the staff.
I don't understand why breakfast isn't included in the price of the room - the choice is fairly limited, portion size isn't great, and it wasn't anything special - certainly not worth £8.50 (I'm comparing this to other places I've stayed).
Stayed in room 14.
Nice room with usual amenities. Comfy bed and good powerful shower. Room was in a building behind main building and car park so fairly quiet. It in an upstairs room but has slightly squeaky floorrboards so glad we weren't in a downstairs room as it may have been a tad annoying. Found price a little expensive for what it was especially as it was room only. Paid less for premier inns and would say they are slightly better for the price.
