Best of a bad bunch
Luton is not well served by hotels.
This hotel is okay but it feels very tired. Think the term 'boutique' is pushing it. Nice people and a good breakfast. The public areas upstairs look and feel a bit worn. My room was nice and clean but quite cramped. It's an old building so of course you can't expect the advantages of a purpose built hotel. It's convenient for town and the railway station but situated very close to a busy road and the busy railway itself. It's okay. It's quirky and you might like that sort of thing. But it needs a bit of TLC. I'd recommend it but be aware of its shortcomings.
Hotel is ideally situated for Luton town centre.
Very good food and friendly staff. The room was good and comfortable, but the en-suite tired and run down. Shower door difficult to open and the tray grubby and stained. Beginning to think that hotels save their worst rooms for LateRooms and the like.
