Holiday Inn Express BATH

Comfortable modern efficient hotel- good beds, no problems.

The hotel is a short taxi ride or 20 minute walk to the centre of Bath. Very quiet despite being on a main road. Interesting markets in the old railway station and a large Sainsburys is close by. The only improvement to the rooms would be some shelf space for clothes- there is none ,so if you are a long haul traveller staying for three days as we did, it is inconvenient to keep everything in your suitcase. Our quiet groundfloor room had a backdrop of trees in a churchyard. Nonopening windows but airconditioned.

Safe

All hotels need a safe in every room so when we go out we don't have to cart all our valuables and computers at risk of being stolen.
