The Cricketers, Clavering
What a lovely find!
We were looking for somewhere to stay overnight before a flight from Duxford next morning, and almost everywhere was booked, except this pub in Clavering (at an excellent last-minute price).
We were so pleased we found it - it's an absolute gem. Excellent food, good service, we even had breakfast served by Jamie Oliver's Dad. Spacious, clean and comfortable room in a lovely village surrounded by rolling countryside and more delightful Essex villages. We will be back!
