Friendly, Clean, Inexpensive
I was greeted in a friendly and professional manner and promptly dealt with, no messing around, no troubles.
Did not use the bar or food facilities but it looked nice from what I saw. The room was spotless as I entered, everything was fresh and it was a good size. All in all it was a great experience.
Great service from all the staff we met
The room was quite hot as the heating was turned up to full and the decor wasn't to our taste but was clean and the building it's self is amazing the bar was great and the quality of the breakfast was excellent
Excellent in every way. This is our second time and we would certainly go again.
All the staff were very smart pleasant and very helpful in every way.
Friendly welcome on arrival.
Given visitor map of the city and our location which was helpful as it was out first visit to Liverpool. Room size very good.
Put simply I was very happy so with the say overall.
Very happy, good value, particularly the room and also breakfast whigh was excellent value and quality.
Would recommend and stay again if same value.
Arrived at hotel a bit earlier than it had stated on the checking in time but was pleasantly surprised that the room was available was allowed us extra time to explore, staff were very pleasant and helpful, room was very comfortable, it was a most relaxing stay and we will definitely be booking another stay very soon.
A Cold and Frosty Reception on a Cold and Frosty Morning.
For a last minute booking, I was very pleased with the value for money.
The hotel also has very attractive interior features. The hallway artworks by David Jacques are wonderful. My only real criticism would be towards the hotel receptionists. On checking in and checking out, there were two different female front of house staff each time. I noticed that they were happily chatting to other staff on both occasions, but adopted a pragmatic and stern approach when dealing with me. I would stress that they were not rude, but I did not feel as if they were very approachable. I am a Liverpool resident, and it concerns me that this does not reflect the warm, hospitable, welcoming vibe of the city. Smile, ladies: our booming tourist industry is one of the main foundations keeping the city afloat - and you in business!
We stayed in room 114 which was not cleaned properly and the noise coming from outside and I think within the hotel on a saturday morning was unbareable.
We booked a late check out which was a waste of time. And at times in the night it felt like the bed was on a main street and not actually in a hotel as the noise was way to much.
Well situated for all needs.
Excellent, room spotless, bed very comfortable, staff very friendly and central to everything.
great for a shopping trip to Liverpool.
Staff were all lovely
