My stay in Bridgend
We have stayed at Days Inn a couple of times before, but this time we found the room excessively hot.
Also as we were in the ground floor close to reception, the door was banging all the time.....this didn't make for a good nights sleep. I would suggest that a soft close device could be fitted to alleviate this problem.
The staff are brilliant and can not do enough to for you?
Basic place to stay
Convenient for where I needed to be the next day.
Staff were very friendly and helpful
To obtain 'free' wi-fi one has to sign on to receiving nuisance email communitcations.
No sign-on, no Wi-fi. The only thing about our stay that wrankled.
Better Than Travelodge
TV reception was very poor.
Kept awake all night by banging door
Ideal base to travel from either stunning countryside or for speed right on the motorway.
also next door to a designer outlet park there is something for everyone. The staff are the nicest and most helpful you could meet all in a very good expierence.
good quality accomodation for the money paid
We have stayed here now on a few occasions and we have to say the lady on the front desk with short blond hair has extremelly good customer service nothing was too much trouble for her we have used travelodge before but no more, she was always friendly& helpful.
Well done days inn your staff there are 2nd to none the beds are comfy as were the pillows to. Also another + is the ice cold water machine.
DAYS INN - BRIDGEND
We arrived at 1.30am and Scott was excellent - making sure my elderly father had a ground floor room with a walk in shower.
A triple room, so Dad had the choice of either a double or a single. Our Double room had been made up with a full double and a further sofa bed double. The bed linen in both rooms was excellent, the towels, whilst spotless, were a tad old, but no worse than at home!. The decor of the rooms was very tired and needed a good clean, the curtains needed to be washed and more hooks were needed to stop 'floppy curtain syndrome'. Taking everything into consideration, it was good value for money but could have been disappointing if your expectations were too high. The thing that frustrated us most was the difficulty we had finding it. It would help if a signpost from the main roundabout gave clear directions. Days Inn cannot be seen from the main road (unlike other similar establishments), and we ended up going back on the M4 up to junction 37, turning back on ourselves and exiting at junction 36 (again) to find that Days Inn was at the back of the petrol station. More signage please.
Days Inn Bridgend - Cardiff - M4
Convenient location, friendly welcoming staff, easy hassle free stay.
Large shower (no bath). Clean and comfortable. Stayed a few times at this location. Steep hill back to services if walking but otherwise all facilities close by.
