100% would recommend it to a friend
Tally Ho Bed and Breakfast
We used the accommodation as a stopover for a family function so only needed a bed for the night and breakfast.
This suited perfectly. We were given a warm welcome. The room was good, bed comfortable and ticked the boxes for us. The breakfast was very large. I would certainly recommend and use the place again.
Friendly people excellent room .Only complaint breakfast so large I couldn't finish it .
Excellent accommodation and service
Lovely welcome, room was great - spacious and immaculate, breakfast was superb.
Tally ho excellent.
Margaret and John, the owners of Tally Ho very friendly and helpful.
Bed very comfortable. Room very clean. My husband enjoyed his very large full English breakfast (Margaret served a small version of veggie option for me, very delicious).
Excellent accommodation, very clean and comfortable with one of the best breakfasts we have had.
This b&b comes highly recommended.
Lovely warm welcome really comfortable room and hearty breakfast, excellent!
The only negative comment I can make is that for my vegetarian breakfast there was just egg, beans, mushrooms and a tomato..
Might be an idea to improve this with a veggie sausage. Otherwise perfect Thankyou
Value for money
That's Value For Money, and there is no doubt about it.
Very friendly and helpful owner, and the full English breakfast is simply amazing.
Tally Ho B&B, Alderton, Tewkesbury.
Very clean, comfortable and pleasant place to stay.
I thought £45 was a fair price, but when I arrived I was told there was £5 off this week, hence only £40. Plenty of parking (with my space clearly identified upon arrival). Breakfast could be better, but I chose the simple cereal/toast option rather than the full English. The owner was very helpful with local directions to my destination the next morning. Well worth it, no complaints.
The host was very welcoming and really seemed to care that everything was just right for us.
He'd even put our name on a board to let us know where to park the car. The room was a little dated, but very comfortable, with plenty of tea, coffee and milk, plus thoughtful extras such as a bottle of water and lots of bathroom toiletries. The vegetarian breakfast was excellent and plentiful; it set us up for the rest of the day. The village of Alderton is pretty, with quite a few thatched properties, and is very convenient for exploring the Cotswolds.
I would definitely stay here again when in the area and would recommend it for its comfort and for its attentive host.
