Travelodge Cardiff Central
Friendly and polite staff on reception.
Clean room. Hotel just a couple of minutes walk from the train station and walking distance into the shopping centre. Perfect 😊
Ideal for the Pricipality Stadium
Stayed one night with a teenager.
Perfect location for cafe quarter, shops and 5 mins to the stadium. £100 for one night was a bit steep (Beyoncé was on the the stadium).
the bathroom was very worn and so was the carpet.
could do with a new face lift
Ideal for the centre of the city
It's a Travel Lodge - clean comfortable and cheap!
A place where you would stay if you planned on partying all night. Loud guests, loud music, no sleep
Not for a relaxing nights sleep or for families with children
Everything was ok the hotel was central to the theatre we were going to and plenty of places and choice for food near .
Value for only sleeping
The free wifi is only for 30mins.
I really need wifi to deal with something via email, so I paid £3 for 24hours for the wifi, and there is even 50p for the tax. You have to ask for a dryer from the reception which is better to ask the customer whether they need one directly when they check-in. In addition, the dryer is so bad that you can feel the extremely hot of the dryer and even can see the red light fire inside the dryer, quite scary, so suggest you to bring your own hair dryer if you need one. There are lots of drinker outside the entrance at night, however, it's good that there are staffs stand right at front of the door but not sure whether that's their position or just chat with someone else. But true that it is quite a good location that you can see it directly once you get out from the train station. It's value to stay overnight if you only look for somewhere to sleep. Low price, don't expect too much!
Thought it would have been better, rooms a little shabby
Spent quite a large amount of money on staying here on Saturday night before Bank Holiday weekend.
For what it was I would NEVER do that again, room was rather shabby, needs a bit of a revamp.
