Perfect little stopover
A lovely little pub in a gorgeous little village. Staff were welcoming, nothing too much trouble. We had been given one of the smaller rooms which as we were only staying one night was fine, it was clean, comfortable and well equipped. The garden was very pretty and peaceful with a little stream running through. The food was of a pretty high standard, service was a little slow but it was worth the wait. This is a very old building so some of the floors slope which is a bit odd and the ceiling in the restaurant is very low so we spent the evening permanently stooped, there are lots of signs reminding you to duck which is good! You should expect things like this in such a quaint, old building.

with what has to be the nicest pub garden i've seen in a long time, the 3 cups was an absolutely excellent place to stay. the staff were brilliant, attentive and courteous without being stuffy. room was great, evening meal in the conservatory was excellent... and the garden.... oh man, with the river test babbling through, just idyllic. if we're in the area again, we will definately be staying again, gorgeous English pub

Lovely place
There was some confusion over the type of room I had booked, ie a superior room and we got a very cosy (small) double, but the landlord was very apologetic and did reduce our cost accordingly, so all parties were happy

Three Cups Review
A 15th Century Inn with very low ceilings-Watch you head! Food was adequate and well presented. There were one or two new staff, so service was a little off! I think I had the smallest room at the Inn, which was well presented and clean, but did not represent value for money. A pleasant stay.
