Family weekend
The hotel was easy to find in a pleasant built up area with on or off street parking, and help was offered to unload our baggage from the car and taken to our room. The room was spacious with tasteful decoration and bed linen, wardrobe and drawer space. The bed was comfortable. A kettle with tea and coffee making utensils was available and replenished daily. The dining room and lounge were combined, but sufficient room surrounding the tables so as not to feel cramped. There was a choice of cereals and or full English for breakfast, with toast, tea or coffee. Service was friendly and quickly served. A very pleasant experience.

This is without question the worst ever so called 'hotel' I have ever had the misfortune to stay in!
Dirty. Old and shabby. Plumbing incredibly noisey. Shower discusting as was the toilet. Room (number 6) the pits. Bed dirty and old. Sorry nothing good to say aparrt from thank God I was only booked for one night.

great value experience in Rotherham
This small family run hotel is a best kept secret - the outside of the building hides a high quality refurbished friendly establishment with personal service. The bedrooms and ensuites are 5* and have been reburbished to a very high standard. The small bar is a treasure with a pool table and dart board giving it a real English pub type feel with comfy armchairs that you don't want to get back out of.
The breakfast served in dining room (with a massive wall mounted flat screen showing the news) was freshly prepared, plentiful and extremely tasty.
I will always try to stay here whenever I need to stay in this area again.
