Very pleasing stay in a small hotel which gives a big hotel experience.
First the cons there are several steps up to the hotel and there are several steps down to the dinning room which if you footing is unsure could be a problem, this said the rewards which greet you makes the effort are very worthwhile, the hotel is clean and very efficiently run the breakfasts are very pleasing and well in vogue with present day thinking of not having a great amount of grease. There are cereals and fresh fruit salad available and home made bread. The bedrooms are Victorian and of a good size and very clean as is the modern no nonsense electric shower. You get your own front door key and the hotel is well lit at night.. Derek and Jenny make excellent hosts and perhaps the most important service they provide is there willingness to provide a meal on request at any reasonable time.

Lovely Hosts
Stayed for one night and had a pleasant stay. Derek the owner recommended the Italian, Tuscany Too around the corner. He even rang and made us a reservation, fab meal. Can highly recommend the breakfast nicely presented and tasty. Also nice to have a bar, not many b&bs have one.

Room by the sea
The B&B was pleasant, the owners were friendly. The problem was the that building is an old building and the floorboards make a lot of noise. So later when we were in bed a number of other guest kept walking around upstairs which produced too much noise, and they did this still the early hours. This was the only problem.

Quietly situated off the beaten track but very close to the spa complex. Great to see quality local produce used in the breakfast which was excellent.
