You get what you pay for.
Thought it was cheap when booking. I need to start reading reviews.
Bed was like a camp bed. No towels or soap etc in bathroom. My room was above the bar so no chance of sleep until everyone had left.

Great for the price
Stayed here for a night out in Nottingham. Couldn't fault the place for the money, very good value and staff were really friendly.

Giggers guide to cheap accommodation
This hotel is ideal for people wanting a "cheap and cheerful" room for a night if they're going to see a concert at the capital arena. It costs £4 in a taxi from the hotel to the Nottingham arena which is ideal. The staff at the hotel are very well presented and happy to help. The rooms however are very basic with dated bathrooms. Also security is an issue as if you leave the hotel to go out exploring you have to leave your room keys with reception so it's advisable to take any valuables with you. The beds in the hotel are also dated... But again if your looking for a cheap place to rest your head after a concert you can't go far wrong with the stage hotel.

Needs a lick of paint...
Wasn't the best start, we arrived only to find out that our room wasn't ready yet. We were patient and sat in the bar area for over an hour (bearing in mind we initially arrived 30 minutes after we were supposed to be able to check-in). Once in the room 1hr 30mins after arriving, the room seemed okay. The shower was terrible, no water pressure and the shower head only had several jets of water still working. Also the shower curtain missed the floor by about 2ft so you had no choice other than to just flood the bathroom. Towels were stained, hence the low rating on cleanliness. Beds were okay and the room was large. It's the sort of hotel that needs a little bit of money thrown at it to become something you'd happily go back to.

Not The Hilton. but value for money .....
As stated in other customer reviews, this hotel is a little tatty round the edges, but it's clean, it's in a nice location and the staff are friendly and helpful, so, overall, I would say that it's not bad for a budget hotel. I would stay here again.

Budget but there
£30 for the night and you get no surprises. Room clean(ish). No frills. A bit cell like but somewhere to sleep that is warm and dry. Perfect for a crash after a works night out.
Take your own towel as the one supplied is very small.

Below average
The room was cold, the shower was tepid, it had a musty smell and there was food on the wall, it could have been cheaper really.

Don't expect much!!!
the hotel was very basic, old and in need of modernising. The fire alarm went off at 04.30 for what seemed like ages then again at 08.30!!! Breakfast was disgusting!!! Had sat there for ages sausages were obviously value!! Not even a proper cup of tea!! The only thing that was positive was the majority of the staff were friendly.
