Staff could not have been more helpful, excellent.
Offered to carry my bags to room even though only had light holdall. Room was spotlessly clean and bed really comfortable. Had light snack in bar and food was excellent.
Only drawback is car park is quite a walk from reception especially if raining.

Beautiful house, average room
The main house is beautiful and the customer service was great. I stayed in a single room
which was fine, apart from two small things - the shower was very small and the drain was blocked, and my bin hadn't been emptied. Good value for money as it was a reduced rate, overall a nice stay. Difficult to find even for the Sat Nav, so change the last letter of the postcode to an 's' !

Beautiful place
Thoroughly enjoyed my night's stay here - so much better than local B&Bs and equivalent price! Beautiful grand house in amazing setting. Highly recommend.

Great Hotel
Very grand estate with fantastic gardens. This would be a lovely place for a relaxing weekend away from the city, but still close to the city.

Treated with total indifference by all staff, other than breakfast ladies who were very nice. It is a beautiful hotel but some of the staff should remember that the surroundings are for the clients to feel special not a massive "show off" for the employees.
