Great hotel, good location
The hotel is conveniently located for the Old Town in Madrid and for many of the galleries and museums too. If you're happy to walk then you can get to most of the sights you'd want to see on a short city break within 20 - 30 mins. If you'd rather take the metro, there are two stations close by and quite a few bus routes pass in front of the hotel.
The rooms are comfortable and quite stylish. Reception was friendly without being OTT. There is a choice for breakfast - either in the bar for the traditional light breakfast or in the restaurant where, for 10 Euros, you can fill up from a very well-stocked buffet.
Being close to the Old Town there are lots of eating places to suit a variety of tastes at night, but remember most don't really get going until well after 8pm.
