On arrival receptionist wasnt sure what day of the week it was. Also key had to be found. Loose tile on floor main entrance. Shower in room didn't give hot water am or pm.reported to owner he said it was new clearly it isn't.glad i was there for only one night. However I was impressed at the efficiency in taking payment.i got the feeling they aren't bothered about customers just their own ease of life and money.

One particular breakfast waitress was, I feel, inappropirately dressed to meet customers.
Her hair looked as not been brushed, not tied back and was flicking all over the place.
She did not smile once.
She looked as though she just got out of bed.
There was no interaction / pleasantries with the customers at all.

Noisy if you are allocated a front room .
Clean but dated . Car park was full so had to park offsite . The main road next to the guest house is still noisy at night . Didn't sleep a wink.

Helpful personal touches
This is more of a small hotel than a B&B but they afford guests the same personal welcome and service that I would expect of a traditional English B&B. They were helpful in arranging room moves in a busy week and efficient in their service - including service at breakfast, check in and check out. The B&B is just a little way out of town but definitely in walking distance of the centre. It is on a main road into Salisbury and out to Stonehenge but there was no appreciable traffic noise. So good, I am going back for another stay!
