Great apartment with an amazing view and even better customer service
We stayed at the SACO 1 bed studio flat for 2 days over New Years. After the small price we paid I was really blown away at the size and quality of the room. We had a great stay, we were welcomed by a lovely lady on reception ( I think she might have been German?) who let us into our room early and was just really friendly. A good thing to point out if you are driving is that the car park just opposite the apartments is quite expensive, but if you remember to get a token from the reception at SACO they will give you it half price ( so only £9 a day)
It is such a great location in a quite area but surrounded by a sainsburys and great bars and restaurants. It is about 15 minutes away from the bull ring and main center and the walk is a lovely one through the city.
On the first night we went to a restaurant just around the corner called Bank, it was amazing!! Quite pricey but the steak was incredible and it was a really good atmosphere. On the 2nd night (new years eve) we stayed in and ordered Chinese which was lovely. The apartment has freeview so we watched a film.
I don't have any negative comments apart from the fact it was a little cold even with the radiator turned right up, but nothing major. The room itself was really cosy and modern and the view was great. There was no noise either which is a massive bonus for me and especially in a busy city center.
Thanks for an amazing stay, we will definitely be back!

Immaculate, modern, centrally located apartment with stunning views across Birmingham
We stayed in apartment 12-6 on the top floor. It is spacious, tastefully decorated, clean and soon feels like a home from home! The bathrooms were great with constant hot water, giant fluffy towels & Molton Brown toiletries (nice surprise). Also the welcome basket is well stocked with milk, cereals, tea, coffee, hot chocolate & an array of snacks!
We were a group of friends on a get together and the location was perfect for soaking up some culture (art galleries, library, canal boat trip) but also close to bars and good restaurants for some nightlife. We'd recommend Pushkar if you like Indian Food.
All in all it was a thoroughly enjoyable trip and we'd definitely return to Birmingham and the Saco Apartments again.

Our Dancing on Ice weekend in Birmingham
We booked Saco Apartments this year for the first time. We normally use Citynites, but had a change this time. We were so impressed right from the minute we came through the front door!! The staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. The apartment itself was stunning!! Amazing views across the city, and a wrap around balcony, Very spacious, modern and clean, not a speck of dust anywhere. There was fresh milk in the fridge, not just 2 or 3 little pots, but a whole pint!! And 2 bottles of water, tea, coffee, biscuits, cereals, etc., even salt/pepper ,dishwasher tablets, everything you could think of, pretty much. The only thing that let this stay down was that the toilet brush was in need of replacing. We will definitely be going back again and shall be recommending Saco to all our friends and family.

Excellent
I stay overnight in Birmingham one day each week on business, and I have stayed in many serviced apartments. To put it simply - these apartments stand out from the crowd.
