Great place to experience Rome from
I was looking for a cheap place for the night, I was pleasantly surprised with what I found.
This B&B is much more like staying in a place you might rent for long term. It's a typical Rome apartment, in which you rent one of the rooms, with a shared kitchen. Some rooms must not of had an ensuite, as there was a communal bathroom also. If you are looking for a generic hotel with a concierge and room service this is not for you. But if you want the real deal, Italian experience in a home away from home type of environment, at a much better price for inner city accommodation, then I would certainly recommend this place. - Very close to termini train station (a couple hundred meters at most), but also one of the main bus stations which can get you to everywhere you need around the City. - Fast internet. - Very friendly staff, who will do everything they can to ease your stay. Spoke very good english. - Within walking distance to most of the main attractions, local taxis, buses and trains are near by if you want to go further. - Very good value for money, bed was very comfy, sheets and towels clean, ideal for short or longer stays. - my stay was short, so I can't speak about most attractions, but for me, bus 64 from the main station 5 mins walk away took me straight to Campo Di Fiora (bars, restaurant and nightlife) in about 30 mins, the same as a taxi would of managed and for less than a couple of euros. The train the following morning tool me to the airport was quick, easy, and cheap. I had intended to use taxis for everything (as work would of paid) but the public transport was the better option. A rare thing I find. I would definitely recommend this place, and will stay again when I next find myself in Rome.
