Only one night stay, wish it could have been longer.

On my own, deaf, and awaiting a hospital appointment the next day.

On arrival, the staff were most helpful, even writing things down for me to make sure i understood. I was worried about alarms going off so they offered me a gadget to put under the pillow which vibrates for the alarm but was also assured the staff wouldn't forget me. I was taken to my room, which was very nice. It had everything you need, and comfy beds, and very clean. Nothing was to much trouble for them, and it was all done with a smile, from getting me extra milk, to helping me ordering a meal to be taken in my room. They even went as far as printing out clear directions for me in getting the train to the hospital. I felt very safe and i think only deaf people could understand that properly. Being deaf can make you very isolated, but the staff were really wonderful, the hotel was great and the food was lovely and great value for money. After dreading being in a strange place by myself, the staff took care and i had a relaxing and enjoyable stay. Next time I am on my travels, I know where I will be staying.
