Not what I expected
Booked the best western in January for my cousins wedding In June, I had wanted the best western in leyland but booked this by mistake, On arriving it looked really good, we waited 10 minutes to check in even though there was 3 staff on the reception and only one customer.
When we did finally check in we were told we were in the hotel village, which we were not told when we booked. The man who checked us in directed us to our room/chalet and said we could drive around or walk through a door, I asked if it was far to walk or would it be quicker driving as my mum had recently had an operation an can't walk very far , all he replied was its upto you!. Not very helpful. Drive round to are room to find out we were on the old Camelot in a bungalow/chalet type room, very basic and not the cleanest. Bed wasn't very comfortable and I was very cold in the night, blankets were not very warm and only one heater worked. Got up in the morning, had a shower, which was rubbish, water pressure was really low, and I'm not sure if it's a difference in the water from where I live but all our hair was extremely tatty after washing it, I know that's not the hotels fault but make sure you bring conditioner. My mum and daughter had a shower and when my daughter came to get one the hot water ran out half way through, so had to rinse her hair with cold water. Would not stay here again, stayed in a hotel in Chorley south the night before, it was less expensive and a lot better.
