Excellent family & dog friendly place to stay

We booked this accommodation at the very last minute as we wanted to stay over with the 2 children 11 & 9 along with the recent addition of our little dog.

A lovely welcome as we arrived and I must say all the staff were excellent, a very helpful young chap who cooked our very nice breakfast also helped change my tyre as I found it flat as a pancake when leaving in the morning. It was a bonus being a pub as well and enjoyed a couple of beers on the benches next to the stream. Bedrooms very clean and the en suite was modern and also very clean. I must say we dropped on a good place to stay on this occasion and will be looking to visit again in the near future.

Lovely Room, great staff

The hotel had a free car park and offered us locked storage for our mountain bikes.

The staff were quick, friendly and super helpful with any request we had. The rooms was clean, spacious and had a modern bathroom. Lovely toiletries and towels were provided. We didnt get chance to eat a full evening meal as food stops serving at 6pm, however they still served us up some chocolate cake and ice cream which was very nice. The menu, looked good an they have a Man vs Food challenge which cost £30 if you cant scoff it all in 30 mins. (looked very tempting)

The breakfast was cooked fresh to order and was plentiful. Overall a great little hotel, good value for money. The only slightly negative thing is that as its above a pub, it can be a bit noisy in eh room til 11pm. (Although it didnt stop me sleeping through)
