About the hotel
Anthony & Deborah welcome you to the music themed Mercury Hotel. We offer high quality en-suite Bed and Breakfast accommodation with a laid back, friendly and informal atmosphere. We also offer a licensed bar which has a large collection of signed music memorabilia.
Our dining area has a fantastic sea view – a great way to start your fun packed days in Blackpool! Situated between the south and central piers we are only yards from the promenade where you can catch a tram to Fleetwood (Freeport shopping outlet) and Cleveleys, or a bus to St Annes and Lytham. We are only a few minutes’ walk to the Pleasure Beach, Winter Gardens, Opera House and the Tower. We are more than happy to accommodate bands/musicians playing in the area, however we will not tolerate drunken or aggressive behaviour and for that reason; *** WE DO NOT TAKE STAG AND HEN PARTIES *** PARKING: There is free on-street parking in close proximity of The Mercury. We also have vouchers for the main Blackpool car parks (which are also very close to the hotel) at a reduced cost of £5. 00 for 24 hours which can be purchased from The Mercury on arrival - this is a 50% saving on the normal daily charge when paying at the machine. Two very well behaved dogs live at The Mercury. They love to meet people and make a fuss, but they are also happy to remain "behind the scenes" where necessary. They are not present in the dining room at breakfast, and are never allowed near the rooms.

100% would recommend it to a friend
I been to various hotels over 35 years in the Blackpool and surrounding area.
This is one of the friendliness places I stayed. Lots of interesting rock memorabilia, so great place to stay if you are a musician, but also if you want great hospitality. Nice bar lounge area with very reasonable prices. I also enjoyed having a lovely breakfast here with background music and no news. I Stayed in many hotels that have constant news broadcasting during breakfast, which I don't like. When I go on a break or holiday, I wish to relax & enjoy breakfast without the doom and gloom. Bed comfortable, slept well. Nice view of sea from breakfast/bar lounge. In good location between Pleasure Beach & main town attractions.
Will certainly be returning here on my next trip to the area.
Relaxing break left to enjoy, a break and feed in the morning, I was helped with finding my way round, and helped with tooth brush very lovely people
