Very Poor Superior Room

We did complain and raise some issue at check out but it fell on deaf ears.

The front desk staff have lost sight of customer service and standards. We stayed in room 103 and the power tripped out on the ring mains at least 7 times whilst trying to boil the kettle and also 5 times whilst using the hair dryer. The lady on the front desk said this had been an issue previously and an electrician was supposed to have repaired it. She thanked us for reporting the issue again.

Also for a superior room to have a narrow bath with shower curtain and a hand rail stuck out where you need to stand is really poor for a room that is supposed to be superior. The shower curtain is continuously sticking to your body. The bathroom on arrival had had 1 bottle of shower gel and 1 towel on the rail. This again is not a superior standard. One of the balcony windows was smashed and had a sheet of paper stuck to it appologising when it should be repaired. The wind constantly blew through. We also arrived a 14:45 to be told that there was limited parking and we would have to go find somewhere else to pay and park until after 6pm. Again this really is poor. We have emailed but again it appears to have fallen on deaf ears as no response.

Accommodation

Room was tired and noise from the outside aircon units and flue were intrusive, slept using earplugs.

Hotel location superb for town centers attractions. Restricted free parking outside hotel.
