About the hotel
A warm Welsh welcome awaits you at Dinas Farm, where you will not only get excellent accommodation but also that little extra to enhance your holiday experience. . .
. . . Formerly one of Lord Snowdon's farms, Dinas Farm is now a family run dairy farm. You will have an unique insight into Welsh rural life and culture. Your children will marvel at the cows being milked and watch in amazement at calves being born. The farmhouse stands majestically in 200 acres of beautiful, unspoilt countryside that gently rolls towards the river Gwyrfai forming part of the farm's boundary. The romantic Welsh Highland Railway running to Caernarfon and Rhyd Ddu forms another of the farm's boundaries. You can leave the car and enjoy this fantastic journey through breathtaking scenery. The station at Dinas is accessible at the farm's entrance as is the Lon Eifion - the main walking/cycling route in the area which gives immediate access to miles of safe cycling and walking. Lon Eifion forms part of the Lon Las Cymru National Cycle Network from Holyhead to Cardiff. This historical, walled town of Caernarfon is only 3m away and a visit to its magnificent Edwardian Castle is a must. Llanberis and the start of the Snowdon Railway is 9m.

Fanastic time at delightful Dinas Farm
We had an wonderful and amazing time at Dinas Farm which is in the most delightful setting just outside Caernarvon.
The farm cottage was recommended to us by our daughter who had recently stayed with her young family who thoroughly enjoyed it. It lived up to all expectations as did the welcome we received by Rhian. She is such a warm, friendly lady who can provide the most wonderful cooked breakfast, if you require it. This I would highly recommend. The cottage has all the facilities that you could need whether you are travelling alone, as a couple, a family or a group. Eating out is no problem as there are a variety of places to suit all tastes. Positioned just outside Caernarvon it is ideal for visiting the castle and shops at Caernarvon, the many sites at Anglesey, Porthmadog and the local beaches along the Llyn Peninsula coast. The Welsh Highland Railway also runs alongside the farm, and for those with young families Greenwood Forest Park and Gypsy Wood are also within easy distance.
