We had a wonderful welcome from Carol with a freshly brewed pot of tea and fresh coffee on arrival.
Our room was big with an ensuite bathroom and 2 very comfortable single beds that we requested. Breakfast is excellent with a good choice of cereals, fruit salad, yogurt, different kinds of bread and croissant. You need to tell Carol if you don't want the full English breakfast as she automatically cooks it for you. This is no problem as she will cook whatever you'd prefer. For us the location proved to be rather noisy as this house is on a busy main road and our room at the front of house had no double glazing. For many people this wouldn't be a problem but we live in the middle of nowhere.
The stay was very comfortable, Carol was a wonderful host, we felt like part of the family, nothing was too much trouble.
The house is a home as well as a business, we were made to feel at home, we were greeted with a cup of tea brought to the room as soon as we arrived. We will be back.
