We stayed here for 2 nights to attend a wedding.
The 'hotel' was in an ideal location for both the wedding and also exploring Southport itself. This is the only positive i could find. I feel the accommodation is more to B&B standard and the description of the rooms and facilities is very misleading. The room we stayed in was very 'compact', very little space to move around, the kitchenette too close to the bed and the ensuit was so small I felt claustrophobic. It says iron, ironing board, hairdryer and trouser press are provided in the rooms, not the case for us, we had to ask at reception and they were travel size with a table top ironing board and no trouser press. Also our kitchenette did not have a fridge. Another problem we had were the position of plug sockets and due to lack of space ironing was a task in itself.
The promise of an experience to shower under the stars was also not applicable in our room as the lights didn't work.
