No cooked breakfast
After payment I was told there was would only be a continental breakfast as the owner had to go away.
This was disappointing and I expect a breakfast of my choice as advertised. I had coffee, toast, 0% fat sugar yogurt and left to buy a breakfast at a local cafe before I had to make my appointment, Partick is nearby and has a number of quality places that meet the bill. The TV was also small by today's standards .
Good Value for Money
Booked through LateRooms.com.
Bit of an issue gaining access as owner was dealing with other residents who arrived before us so we were left outside for 5-8 mins. Parking is in a neighbourhood and were asked to move the car back to take up less space so as to not annoy the neighbours. Décor is busy as owner is an artist so lots of their work on show. Room was a four poster - total surprise. Room was a little cold but once we turned the radiators up it warmed up. Bathroom a little tired but adequate - not at the same level as the bedroom. If paying by card there is a 2% surcharge - not a problem but not aware it was noted on the paperwork we received. All in all a nice place to stay, served our purpose as attending something in town.
