About the hotel
Please note last check in time is 9pm. A warm & Friendly welcome awaits you from the owner of Homeleigh Guest House for your bed and breakfast accommodation needs in Eastleigh. Myself and my team hope you will book with Homeleigh Guest House for your home-from-home accommodation in Eastleigh.
The aim of our service is to provide bed and breakfast accommodation efficiently in an atmosphere that is friendly and relaxed. Eastleigh, being well situated for both business or pleasure, was first mentioned as Esteli in the Doomsday book. The name of Eastleigh was chosen by the local authoress Charlotte Yonge when the growing community, due to the London and South Western railway company moving its carriage and engine works to Eastleigh in the 1880s, became a parish in 1868. All our prices include a freshly cooked full English Breakfast each morning of your stay at no extra cost. If you are travelling to Homeleigh Guest House by train or by air then I can arrange with you to collect you from the railway station or airport at no extra charge. The bedrooms are comfortable and well appointed and all rooms have wash basins, colour TV and central heating to keep you snug and warm in the winter. Myself and the team look forward to welcoming you.

It's a cheap bed, not a resort!
Homeleigh Guest House is never going to win any awards as a tourist destination.
It's a pretty downmarket guest house in a pretty drab town (Eastleigh) - audibly handy to both the local railway station and Southampton airport. The room is pretty tired, but 'clean and decent', as George Orwell would say. For 40-odd pounds you don't expect much else these days. It's handy to a mall with various 'chain' restaurants and proprietor Nigel serves a decent breakfast and is a pleasant fellow if you can avoid the subject of what he charmingly calls 'emigres', where he lets slip his casual racism too readily. But it's a bed and okay at the price. Be wary also of Satnav directions, there are closed off roads it seems not to know about, the parking (across the road in a pay park) free between about 6pm and 8am. Don't expect too much for your money and you won't be disappointed.
