Most Unexpected

This is our first visit to the Stanley Arms, but it won't be our last.

Open fires, rolling countryside and a bar, what more can a man want. The room was comfortable, clean and well appointed. If you are looking for a Nice place to stay, then this is it, the staff were wonderful, we felt looked after from the minute we arrived.

trip to buxton

what a find.

We were visiting Buxton for the weekend and decided to stay at The Stanley Arms nearby. Upon arrival we were quickly show to our room which was lovely, even a sherry each waiting for us. We had booked a table to dine that evening and once again we were made to feel very welcome by all the staff. The bar is lovely with the coal fire burning, I felt so at home. The food is plentiful and very good. After a good nights sleep we went down for breakfast, which was brilliant, set us up for the day. I was so impressed that we've booked to go back later in the year.
