About the hotel
The Shakespeare Inn is located and situated in Plymouth, Devon. We accommodate single people. couples and groups of 3 people in our two spacious guest bedrooms.
A freshly cooked hearty full English breakfast is available to set you up for the day at a small extra charge. Tours are available within the locality, via tour bus or on a little boat cruise. We also have great fishing spots, where you can expect to catch some special fishes or you could book a sea fishing trip. We also have events and exhibitions all year round, enough to keep our guests entertained. The weather in the South West is renowned for being mild, so, hopefully, you will be able to enjoy plenty of sun in the summer whilst relaxing at the beach or chilling out on our beautiful Plymouth Hoe. We offer a small pub food menu at The Shakespeare. Nearby there is an excellent choice of dining options, from basic cheap and cheerful to fine dining at it's best, to bistro type places offering wine and tapas. . room non existant
Got to the hotel to be told that they gad not booked out rooms for nearly a year despite the fact that I had been able to book and reserve a double room through laterooms website.
This left me with a weeks work to do in Plymouth - on foot and nowhere to stay. Manages to book in at premier inn's fortunately and walked into town. All in all bad experience all round. Only good part was laterooms call centre confirmed I would not be charged.
Fantastic, friendly down to earth place.
