We probably got this wrong.
Mountains are great but parking on a mountain side is difficult and 46 steps down to accommodation in high temperatures is not for the faint hearted. We arrived at Agerola easily but then spent 45 minutes trying to find Albachiara. It is in San Lazzaro which does not feature in the address so no one seemed to know where it was. When someone eventually told us it was in San Lazzaro we thought it incorrect although travelled on and finally found it. We had no Internet connect for two days prior to arrival so didn't get the email offering advice from the owners. Smoking is allowed at the accommodation and for non smokers this is uncomfortable. There is a twenty minute steep walk up to the delightful town which we did to catch the local bus and also to go to the restaurants. Other reviews made it seem as if meals could be taken at Albachiara but this was not the case. Breakfasts were interesting as we had food from the farm. A coffee machine would be a great improvement. The dogs bark a lot and, as a working farm, the cockerels kept us entertained. It is probably ideal for walkers.
