Superb views and excellent accommodation

Beautiful part of the lakes, we travel regularly into the lakes for walking and biking weekends, this has to be one of our favourite locations.

Accommodation was excellent, breakfast outstanding and the security awesome (2 great English Sheepdogs!!). The room had every comfort and the peace and tranquility was wonderful - great value.

Good break

Excellent cuisine.

Many small details around the hotel have been carefully thought about and can be enjoyed by the discerning client (and who knows, maybe we didn't discern them all!). Situated at the quiet end of a quiet village this is a place to come and unwind.
