The rooms are clean but a bit sparse.
Large bathroom with good shower. Great pub atmosphere.
Despite the fact that the establishment was undergoing floor refinishing downstairs, the staff bent over backwards to make our stay pleasant, both for things related to that and for service in general.
The room was better than those in well known chains where we stayed this trip. The tub made a great soak after a long day of sight-seeing. It felt like we were actually in Wales. The pub downstairs was friendly, and I wish we had had energy to participate; any noise from it stopped before 10 pm. The location could not be have been better. Breakfast was excellent.
