Good location and brilliant breakfast

Peace and quiet in a lovely house a 2 minute drive from Stockbridge.

Unfortunately the road is too dangerous to walk, however lots of free parking in Stockbridge. Stockbridge has plenty of places for eating and drinking, It is a good location for Salisbury and Winchester. The hosts Cathy and John were very welcoming and knowledgeable . The garden was full of interesting plants and birds. Great to watch whilst having breakfast. We can recommend the smoke trout, spinach and scrambled eggs for breakfast - yum yum.

Highfield Country Guest House

Was lovely and very friendly we were even greeted by Buster (the dog) lying on the doorstep one evening when we returned.

Cathy (the owner) was very accomodating nothing was a problem she was only too pleased to help, advise, suggest places to visit etc. Definately would stay again.
