Hotel was pleasant and the staff were all happy and happy to help with any situation, especially when we brought to their attention the noise of an engine/fan running all night, turned out to be the Hotel next door, soon sorted and didn't hear another peep out of it for the rest of the stay.
Would recommend to anyone.
It would be wrong of me to say that everything about this hotel was bad.
However, a hotel first and foremost, is a place to sleep. And that was something made extremely difficult by the music from the bar downstairs. Gracellie has a bar, which appears to be open until whoever is behind the bar has had enough... and the music is loud. Karaoke / local performers / jukebox.... all take priority over the experience of those who choose to stay in their rooms and attempt to sleep. The manager was very apologetic, and seemed genuinely upset that our stay had been marred by this, but when you complain about the noise at 2am and a staff member says "Oh, have you got kids?" ... you're up against it. I hadn't realised you needed kids to deserve a quiet nights sleep. Otherwise, breakfast was decent, location is good, seaview is alright too. Rooms very basic - ours lacked a bulb and a lampshade on the main light, and a hairdryer, but the shower was ok and bed pretty comfy.
My advice would be to check out the hotels / guest houses further along the seafront coast path, as they look lovely and quiet.
