Classy B & B in lovely rural location
We stayed here for one night over the Bank holiday.
We were in a Superior room in the annexe which is obviously newly built. The room was spacious with modern bathroom, excellent shower, very comfy queen size bed, a little kitchenette and quality furnishings. Our room was on the ground floor, looking out over the fields. The M11 junction is very close by but we were not bothered by traffic noise at all.. The main house is a lovely old building with a beautiful spacious garden and to the right there is a heated swimming pool. The continental breakfast is £10 per person but we felt it
was worth the money - plenty of tea/coffee, smoked salmon, ham, cheese, fruits, cereals and so on. The service was also good at breakfast. The park and ride to Cambridge is very close by or you can get a taxi for about £8 one way. Overall I feel that this place is above average accommodation and would thoroughly recommend it as a place to stay
