Very friendly and comfortable.
Able to enter room early within 1/2hr booking which was very good..
Very friendly and helpful landlady and staff. Very clean though shower tray broken which landlady knows about and is replacing with more storage as very little storage in shower room. Sink is only a small corner sink but was adequate for one night. Not very nice view from window of room 4, but bed comfy, food good, nice cup of tea. Lots of chocolate and mints in room with hot chocolate and marshmallows along with all usual tea, coffee and biscuits. Very close to all amenities, cafes and town. Very limited parking though states parking available. Loading and unloading available for 10 mins, then find a space or few spaces available up the road and round the corner and behind the wall we could see from our room window.
Beach House review
This is a superb B & B.
The bed was the most comfortable ever and the bathroom was clearly new and very clean. I dipped to a 5 regarding the room because the decor is a bit tired and dated, and also the public areas, but was made up for by the bed and the bathroom. Also lovely touches with sweets aswell as the hot drinks facility and bottled water. The breakfast is the best I can honestly say I have ever had in terms of quality of produce and cooking - and I am 53. Sue Is the landlady and nothing was too much trouble, I lost my mobile phone and she was most helpful in trying to find it. There is a lovely wine Bar opposite with great food called Snooze. Anne served our breakfast and too was very friendly. We felt very good value for money and would stay again.
