This hotel adjoins a Lloyds No. 1 bar which plays music in the evening. In certain rooms, music may be heard during the evening bar hours. This is not a hotel - it is a dancing club with some rooms located above.
Loud music continues until 2:00 AM, at least on the weekends.
After that you can listen to drunk people yelling in the streets until about 5:00 AM. Not to mention the traffic. Room 16 was very hot and could not be cooled down by opening the window since this could only be opened by about 10cm due to safety concerns of the owner. The light over the sink was so dim it was pretty useless. The bed (when used by 2) was very narrow and short.
Not a 5* Hotel - nor does it claim to be.
However, it was absolutely fine, even good when you consider the price.
The breakfasts are worth every penny, and more besides. Right near the centre of town, it's going to be my first choice for future visits.
