Basic but comfy bed

Plus was the comfy bed with cotton sheets, but room was a bit dark and dingy and could do with a few coats of paint.

Could also do with a soap dish in the shower. Street traffic was noisy till late at night and then from early morning - double glazing would have been an advantage to soften some of the noise at night.

In need of an urgent refurb

the Pub is in a good setting and the staff were very friendly and helpful, the breakfast, at an extra cost of £7.95 was lovely....however, the rooms are very poorly furnished, and the carpets were dreadful.

The mattress must have been 10 years old, very thin and you could feel the springs. We were in room 4. My daughter was in a twin room, no 7, and the mattresses were much better. On the plus side the bathrooms were ok. The towels and linen were lovely and white. Everything just needs a wash down and refurbishment.
