Lovely staff, beautiful room and stunning views.
We arrived around 7.30pm, much later than hoped, due to a horrendous, 240mile, traffic jammed journey.
We were welcomed during a very busy Saturday night service, yet were made to feel important and nothing was too much trouble. Upon arrival our room was upgraded to a suite, which was just beautiful, it had a sitting room and a bedroom with a 4 poster bed and views out of all 3 windows to die for. The views looked out over the stunning countryside all the way to the sea. The rooms were spotlessly clean with a well stocked tea/coffee tray. The Bathroom toiletries were also well stocked and smelt gorgeous. We'd had to cancel our dinner reservation there earlier as we were late but were recommended another restaurant nearby and given their number. Once we'd finally arrived though we were too exhausted to go out again and the hotel kindly asked the chef if he could fit us in at the end of service, which he kindly did and was worth waiting for... If only we'd booked for 2 nights as our next hotel was the complete opposite unfortunately. Cannot recommend The Moorland Hotel highly enough it is everything you could ask for and more, go and see for yourself. Thank you everyone at The Moorland Hote.
