About the hotel
White Waters Hotel is a new hotel situated in delightful surroundings overlooking the River Dee and yet located only one mile from the town centre. The ethos of this new hotel is to offer the highest quality of luxurious accommodation and service with a restaurant dedicated to fine dining and an environment to provide that ‘little extra’ that puts it apart from other more standard hotels. It offers 24 bedrooms all with ensuite facilities.
A richly furnished and delightfully presented 19th century manor, which offers both a traditional and contemporary feel throughout. It is here where you will find luxury, coupled with a warm friendly atmosphere. Our family owned hotel has been sympathetically restored and extended to a magnificent standard.

Disappointed with our shabby room
Booked this for a short weekend break, having looked at reviews online etc.
We were given room 206 and have to say we were very disappointed. Looked at reviews again as I thought I had somehow booked the wrong place. Delving deeper it seems to be a regular problem with certain rooms. The room looked out over the side of the hotel, with a mound of rubbish just in front and some shabby caravans and disused ground, it was a mess. The room was basic to say the least with many things falling apart. The food in the restaurant was nice, a fairly basic everyday menu but the staff, although polite were very poorly trained. On our first night there was a really young member of staff who was obviously being trained by someone more senior, however it seems that she hardly knew what she was doing. My husband ordered steak and they never even asked how he wanted it cooked, and there should have been a choice of chips/jacket potato but this question was never asked either. Very disappointed and really wished we could have spoken to a manager or a knowledgeable person during our stay or before we left but as we needed to leave by a certain time this was just not possible as there always seemed to be a queue or the person on the desk seemed to have poor knowledge of the place or customer service. I suggest that room 206 is removed from availability until it has had a complete refurbishment. I have photos of a shower head held up with a plastic bag, badly cracked and no grout in bathroom tiles, no headboard, stains on the carpet, handles missing, and general poor decoration. Add to this the lack of TV channels/wifi coverage/mobile phone coverage and its fair to say we won't be visiting this place again, which is a shame because the view over the river was awesome, but the overall tired looking hotel let it down.
Celebrating our 1st year anniversary had an upgrade from the lovely Sarah thank you Hun xxxxx
