About the hotel

Llety Teifi is a relaxed family run Boutique style Guest House accommodation in Cardigan just off the main High Street, near the town but away from the hustle of town life. A newly converted Grade II, elegant Georgian town house. We aim to provide Cardigan with its premier boutique accommodation.

The house dates back to 1880 and is an important part of the local history, originally built for David Davies, wine and spirit merchant who donated Cardigans clock and later lived in the governor’s house. Llety Teifi is the ideal place to stay whilst exploring this beautiful part of Cardigan Bay and Mid Wales. Start your day with a Welsh breakfast in the conservatory, where a fine selection of meals are served on selected evenings – being from an agricultural background its an important ethos for the family to use fresh local produce from traceable sources. We have limited parking for our guests in front of the house but we are able to use another car park near by the house for any overspill. We endeavour to provide all our guests with excellent, luxurious facilities in a friendly and comfortable environment, whether it’s a business trip or a well earned break we would like to extend to you a very warm welcome.

Lovely!

Didn't have any of the food but it smelt lovely when we came down in the morning.

Everything else was great, very clean, tidy and comfortable all round. We only saw one member of staff and that was when we checked in but she was very pleasant.

clean room. loved the real coffee

I was welcomed in by a polite young girl.

The room was impeccably clean and the bed good although I found the duvet rather inadequate. The option of real coffee with a little cafetiere was a delightful idea. The only problem I had was with the shower. A fancy modern unit with separate mixing controls and water control, that unfortunately seemed to be faulty and only capable of dispensing BOILING water; I will say there was no problem with the water heating. I ended up trapped in the far corner of the (spacious) unit before, with difficulty, turning off the flow of scalding water and escaping.

The breakfast choice was excellent and the ladies dispensing it pleasant. I reported the shower problem and hope it has been taken seriously.
