Good value of money
A good location for a city break.
Clean, tidy accommodation and courteous, helpful staff. Would recommend.
Great London crash-pad
Stayed for 1 night as was in London for a gig.
Hotel staff were incredibly friendly on check-in. Room was functional, bathroom clean but quite small. Continental breakfast was plentiful, and although very busy, the staff did an excellent job of keeping up with demand. I would stay here again if I needed a central London stop-off.
Good location, quiet room, all OK.
A one night stay on business, booked primarily for closeness to Millbank and was within an easy walk which was ideal.
Smooth and easy check in, good continental breakfast. Room service was not available but is shown in the hotel information pack in room. All in all, a fine place to stay for a night. Wouldn't really have wanted much longer as room and bathroom were small. Shower was good and powerful, TV a bit hit and miss but a good selection of tea/coffee + facilities in room.
Excellent accommodation and staff
I was impressed with the hotel and my room, considering some of the other reviews I'd read.
I arrived late, at just after midnight and was pleased to see a bright airy reception. The hotel is a short taxi ride from London Victoria. The member of staff checking me in was very helpful, and apologetic for the other guests smoking outside the front door. The room, although small (being a single), had everything I needed - plenty of tea and coffee, TV, a very good sized shower and a fan which was definitely required. The bed was comfortable and I slept very well.
We were very pleased with the comfortable and relaxing atmosphere of the hotel, in particular the friendly and welcoming staff and all the resources available.
Bedside light flashing, coffee sachets damp & crystalised room door needed banging to close properly
Short Weekend Stay
Travelled down on the Thursday night from Glasgow by Megabus and arrived at the hotel at 10AM.
The receptionist was great in letting us into our room at this time although check in is not supposed to be until 2PM. Although the room was small, it was ideal and had everything we needed. The bathroom was extremely clean. The housekeepers were excellent and did our room to a great standard while we were out on the Saturday (even folding clothes which had been left lying on the bed.
The only downside was the lack of cooked breakfast but we were made aware of this before arriving so it wasn't too big a deal. They still had cereal and a small selection of fruit, pastries and juices to keep us going. The hotel is in a fantastic location and we visited Buckingham Palace, Westminster, the London Eye, Trafalgar Square and Leicester Square all by foot. It is only around a 40 minute walk to the furthest away of those and as long as you don't mind walking most of the major attractions can be reached by foot. if not there is a subway and train station very nearby which is handy. We also booked a trip to the Harry Potter Studio Tour and the bus stop used by Golden Tours to transport customers to the attraction was literally around the corner which was fantastic. Overall the hotel was ideal for us and I would definitely stay again if going back to London.
Tiny room but clean.
A nice family hotel
Room a little small, a little too noisy being at front of hotel, walls a bit thin as could hear other clients in the next room, but would stay again if in a back room
What you would expect for a very reasonable London price.
