The owners, Freddie and Fiona, were really friendly, helpful and accommodating. The hotel was really nice and centrally situated and I would visit again and recommend others to stay here.

The couple who run the hotel could not be friendlier.
Great location, only 10/15 minutes stroll from railway station/City centre. Edinburgh is a 'compact' City with everything in easy walking distance. This hotel is perfect for exploring the City.
Stay at this hotel with complete confidence, you'll not be disappointed.

A Room with A View
We stayed for 2 nights and returned for another night to this comfortable hotel. The location is great, within walking distance to almost all attractions. . Our room has a street view and surroundings are quiet. Free private parking and high speed WiFi. Choices of breakfast, recommend the kipper, which is a bit different to English/Scottish (Full Monty) Breakfast.

Great stay
After eating breakfast we did not need to eat again until dinner. Handy for all sites, shops and the Playhouse Theatre. A great noise free sleep.

A lovely stay at Broughton Guest house. A lovely welcome from the owner who made us welcome and helped us to plan our activities in Edinburgh. Breakfast was fantastic. The guest house is in a fantastic location 5 minutes walk from George St and Princes St and 10 minutes walk from the Royal Mile. Having free parking available is also a massive bonus.
