Well located, walking distance to many attractions
The hotel was close to Edinburgh University where we were to attend graduation ceremonies. The desk staff were helpful particularly calling cabs for evening outings. The room was comfortable, contained an electric water kettle for making either tea or instant coffee. It took a minute to find the hair dryer since it was located in a dresser drawer in the room, and that's where it had to be used since it did not come out to be moved.
I found the food at the restaurant to be excellent, although we did not take advantage of the daily breakfast.

Excellent Overnight Stay
Room was clean and tidy, beds incredibly comfy, and being on the top floor meant outside noise was minimum.
Very enjoyable stay - would stay there again. Only issue was the distance from the train station without using a bus!
