Customer Service is great but room not the best
We were staying for 6 nights there and unfortunately we had to change the room.
The first night we were in the basement. The room was very hot and we were scared to open the window as we didn't see if people can come in or not. However, we have then had a great evening staff member in the accommodation which changed our room to one in the first floor. This was not that hot and everything seemed to be fine. Unfortunately the handle of the toilet fell off and we always had to be very careful in using it. Then, the worst of all, was the shower. If you need a shower - don't take one. It doesn't flow - is was fine at the start and then went to the lowest level a shower could go to. As well as only cold water. The hotel food was fine - breakfast a bit small but ok. Staff members very nice and helpful.
Shabby without the chic!
The room was shabby and dirty.
The pelmet was hanging off the rail and full of dust, there were cobwebs on the walls and also the walls were covered in dirty scuffs and scratches. The only way to fill the kettle was by using the shower spray as it would not fit into the tiny basin. The teacup was tiny and of the sort you couldn't get your finger into the handle and the milk in the little pot had gone off. The sheets and towels were clean and the room was at the back so it was quiet. The radiator in the bedroom didn't work at all. I didn't see a single person from checking in till checking out. I hoped I would be asked if everything was OK as I would have told them it was not but nobody asked. Suffice to say I will not be going back.
