en-suite size of a cupboard bedroom meant to be double size of a single 3/4 size bed dirty sheets.
room unclean. curtains falling off the track. first night view of bins all over garden second night woken at 6am on a sunday. no breakfast unless pay 7 for a continental. I could go on took lots of photos to confirm my comments. checked out 2 days early had more than enough. more like a doss house than a hotel.
Tried to get somewhere in Glagow but didn't know about the Open.
So I'm not a golfer. Finally stumbled on this hotel. Didn't really have any choice so booked it. The reviews were mixed but thought it couldn't be that bad. Well it wasn't great. Poor decor. Lack of cleaning. Generally not a lot of care in the place. It did the job for 2 nights but it would not be somewhere I would revisit. It has the potential of being a nice boutique hotel but it's being treated as a cash cow. Can see that a lot of the residents are contractors staying to work at Rosyth dockyard That's the standard it is clearly set at.
