About the hotel
The Linton Hotel was originally called The Golden Lion Hotel (detailed in 1835 by a local minister) then changed its name to The Red Lion and again to The Bridgend (1980’s) and is now known as The Linton. No matter the name the welcome is always guaranteed to be warm and friendly. Situated on the edge of the River Tyne within the beautiful historical village of East Linton, The Linton Hotel is ideal for a those wishing to enjoy the local area.
We take a great deal of care to ensure that your visit, no matter how short, is one to be enjoyed and remembered for some time to come. Loving the Linton Hotel
I stopped here for one night whilst going to a friend's 40th birthday in Dunbar.
Really friendly place, welcoming staff. There is a traditional bar, restaurant (though sadly I didn't have time to eat) and beuatifully kept rear garden. Hope to return. Laura
