Good value if you use catering.
Good Quality but Not Cheap
Although a student apartment, it was high spec, with small but clean bathroom (shower only) and modern kitchen area.
The kitchen pans, crockery and utensils were basic but sufficient. The location is good for central Edinburgh - between the bottom of the Royal Mile and the road behind Waverley station. It was also very quiet, despite being fairly central. The bed is a small double but okay. The cost was high, since we were staying for the Fringe Festival, so whether value for money or not depends on time of year and your budget. The reception was understaffed - there was a backlog when we arrived - though they tried their best. Given the cost, it would have been good to have ensured proper staffing levels. Overall, definitely worth considering, especially if you are looking for somewhere near the station or the Royal Mile.
