About the hotel
Offering en suite rooms and studio flats in the city centre, Portsburgh Court is a 10-minute walk from the University of Edinburgh. Opposite the College of Art, it has free internet and an on-site common room. The main university bus routes are a short walk away, and buses run directly to Heriot-Watt University from a few metres away.
Rooms are clean and modern with a TV for guests to enjoy, and the flats also have a fully equipped kitchen. Edinburgh Rail Station can be reached in 20 minutes on foot, and Portsburgh Court also has room for storing bicycles on site.

It's a student hostel and can make quite a good choice for a longer stay.
For 1-2 nights still you can find better accomodation in the same price. Although I was lucky, coz I booked the room just the day before I came and paid around £40 pounds for a studio flat :)

No way. £40 a night is generous for this very basic cube. Not even a plastic cup to get a drink of water never mind a hot drink.
Fine as a place to lay your head for the night.
