Nice little bnb in walking distance from Royal Mile.
Nice slightly old fashioned bnb in walking distance (30 mins) from the Royal mile and indeed Princes Street situated directly on busy road.
There are regular bus services that stop just along Mayfield Gardens if you don't fancy the walk, Parking is on a nearby side streets which can be tight as it's a well populated area with houses and bnb's. Arrived before 5 and all the lights were turned off which was odd and made it look closed but fine once inside. Room was on back of property so i didn't hear the main road traffic, had a comfy bed and table with stool for internet access which worked fine. Bathroom clean but with no light above the enclosed shower which was a strange omission. Everything worked fine though. Breakfast (which needed to be ordered the night before on a order form) was good and as was the service. No problems at all for travelling person on business. All in all a polite, friendly if slightly old fashioned bnb in walking distance from the all the main sites in Edinburgh.
